Payments are by bank transfer to the owner’s account in Mauritius. Regretfully, we cannot accept for the moment payments by credit card. All bank transfers charges are for the account of the tenant. The owner must receive the exact amount. There are no charges levied by our local banks for incoming transfers. There will be by the issuing bank and by any transit bank if the issuing bank routes the transfer by an intermediary bank.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
1) For bookings made more than 3 months before arrival:
- Deposit of 40% within 5 days of reservation.
- Balance of 60% two months before arrival.
2) For bookings made between 2 to 3 months before arrival:
- Deposit of 40% on reservation.
- Balance of 60% one month before arrival.
3) For bookings made less than 2 months before arrival:
- Full payment of 100% on reservation.
The deposit of 40% is payable within 5 days of the booking.
The deposit of 25 % is NON refundable..
The balance payment of 50% is payable 2 months before arrival or one month before depending of the date of reservation (see terms of payment).
Failure to settle on due date will result into the booking being cancelled.
In case of cancellation when the balance has been paid a partial refund of 50% of the balance will be effected only if an equivalent replacement booking is obtained. Otherwise it will be at the pro-rata of the value of the replacement booking. In case of one or more members of the party cancelling his/her/their booking after the balance payment has been paid no reimbursement will be effected.
The services of the staff are included in the rental prices.
Tipping is discretionary.
We recommend 5€ per person per day.
The service hours vary according to the villas. No service on Sundays and Public holidays.
Note that for the festive end of year period, there will be no service from December 24 at noon until December 26 inclusively and from December 31 at noon until January 2 inclusively. Namely that in Mauritius, December 25 and 26, January 1st and 2nd are public holidays.
NUMBER OF PEOPLE
The rental is strictly limited to the number of persons specified on the booking note. Hosting of additional persons is conditional to the owner’s previous acceptance and subject to the supplementary fee being settled in advance. Failing this the additional persons will be required to vacate the property immediately.
RECEPTION OF THIRD PARTY / PARTIES
The reception of any foreign person is subject to the prior authorization of the owner who reserves the right to refuse. Failure to comply will result into requesting the foreign person/s to vacate the property immediately and the owner shall retain the security deposit.
A security deposit may be requested at the discretion of the owner.
An appropriate advice will then be served at the time of booking.
HOURS OF ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
Check-in: 2 pm
Check-out: 10 am.
In case of early arrivals and late departures please refer to the notice to this effect which is served separately.
ELECTRICITY, WATER, LOCAL TELEPHONE AND TAXES
Included in the price. No additional charges.
We invite you to use the safe and the alarm system when you leave the property.
We do not accept any claims for loss of money or personal objects.
No claim for refund will be entertained in cases of flight delays or cancellations, airport and airline strikes, flight disruptions due to cyclonic conditions, volcanic eruptions etc. and for no-shows for personal reasons. We invite you to contract an insurance policy.
If the property is unavailable, or has to be vacated, for force majeure causes ( Accidents, Fire, Flooding, Damages by previous tenants, Damages by cyclones etc.) our liability will be strictly limited to the reimbursement of the sum equivalent to number of days of the property not being available.
